With their lead having shrunk to 1.5 games over the Marlins and 4.5 over the Mets, the Phillies are considering bringing in another starting pitcher to take Brett Myers' spot. On the top of that list are both C.C. Sabathia and Erik Bedard - who the team has been scouting - as well as their top prospect, Carlos Carrasco.
