The Pittsburgh Pirates are working out the details of a contract with a 16-year-old shortstop from Columbia. Jonathan Barrios is considered one of the top prospects in the area by two publications. Time will tell if he can make an impact (percentages say not), but that won't stop teams from signing international players at such young ages.
