With their season nearing the classification of a disappointment, the Braves are nearing an important stretch in their team's history. They have a big question to answer: Should we trade Mark Teixeira? It's a difficult decision because by trading him they receive prospects for the future, but it also appears that they are waving the white flag. This will, in theory, disgruntle an already pretty fickle fan base and decrease ticket sales. On top of everything, trading Teixeira means that Chipper Jones loses protection in the lineup, allowing pitchers to pitch around him in his quest for .400. Stay tuned.
