Pirates closer Mike Capps was placed on the disabled list Wednesday after being diagnosed with bursitis and tightness in his throwing shoulder. Capps is expected to be sidelined approximately eight weeks. With their regular closer out of comission, look for the Pirates to turn to Damaso Marte or Romulo Sanchez in save situations.
