San Diego pitcher Chris Young took the next step in returning from the disabled list by throwing a simulated game on Saturday. Young, who sustained a broken nose and a fractured skull when he was hit by an Albert Pujols comebacker on May 21, still faces surgery to repair a deviated septum on Monday.
